As a managing general agency and underwriting facility for various insurance companies, ProAssurance Mid-Continent Underwriters, Inc., has extensive experience and resources to operate insurance "back office" operations efficiently and cost-effectively.
Following is a menu of services available:
Program Administration covers all aspects of submission processing, including: underwriting, rating, credentialing, issuance of policies, endorsements and certificates.
Document Management includes: imaging, indexing and archiving records locally and remotely to assure a secure environment; online retrieval for review, update and printing capabilities. Services also include integration of workflow with documents and systems to allow efficient process management.
Billing and Collection includes: invoicing and statement production, as well as distribution and collection; regular reporting of aged accounts receivables.
Risk Management services include: either on-site or remote telephone surveys depending on the client's needs and wants. Contracted services are also available for more in depth, focused, risk management services.
Claims Handling services, provided through our claims department, include management of the claims process and draw from a knowledgeable panel of attorneys nationwide to advise, guide and represent the client.
Financial Management services are provided in support of the captive manager to facilitate financial accounting and preparation of reports, including content for statutory financial statements required for RRGs and other captives.
Mid-Continent's "back office" operations are designed to allow the client to select only the services it deems necessary to contract for in conjunction with their own in-house capabilities.
